When checking in, the Coordinator will check off the EAC company and note the amount of buttons taken.    Each EAC company should only have 1 representative retrieve the welcome buttons.

Coverings 2007 Announcement

Coverings EAC Deadline is February 9, 2007       A reminder to all EACA members that the deadline for EAC Registration for Coverings is February 9, 2007.

LAS VEGAS CHAPTER ANNOUNCEMENT

LAS VEGAS CONVENTION CENTER ANNOUNCEMENT

All EACA members should be alerted to a new regulation at the LVCC.  Contractor labor may not be allowed on floor until one hour after the show closes.

This is not a rule that exists at every event, but can be implemented by show management to assist their exhibitors to protect high value goods.

This new rule is meant to give exhibitors time to pack up with no one on the floor due to theft issues.    Some times the Official Service Contractor can roll carpet only and sometimes they can’t even do that.   It depends on the type of show and if it is the type of show that might easily have problems with multiple thefts.

Once again this new rule is encouraged by the LVCC but is up to the show organizer.

NEW ORLEANS CHAPTER ANNOUNCEMENT

All Contractor badges issued in 2006 will be accepted through the end of 2007 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center .  All other provisions of the MCC Access Policy remain in place.

New badges will be required in 2008.
