It's Back to Berkeley Hills for the 15th Annual RSMGC! The organizers of the 15th Annual Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic (RSMGC) announced that this year’s event will return to Berkeley Hills Country Club in Duluth GA on October 12, 2009. At the RSMGC trade show industry professionals come together to work for a common cause – to assist fellow trade show professionals during their time of need or hardship. CONEXPO Named Largest Show; Nielsen and Reed Exhibitions Tie for Top Show Organizer; MD&M, MedTech Take Leading Brand <Trade Show Executive> The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) picked up three Grand Awards and the triennial giant CONEXPO-CON/AGG won two including the “Largest Show of 2008” and the one that delivered the highest economic impact. The awards were announced at the Trade Show Executive 2nd Annual Gold 100 Awards & Summit on September 24 at the Terranea Resort and Conference Center in Rancho Palos Verdes,
Cabrera Retires; Michael Currier New Head of Sales for International Builders’ Show <Trade Show Executive> Michael Currier was named to replace Ignacio Cabrera, who retired in August as vice president of exhibition sales for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Currier is now in charge of exhibit and sponsorship sales for the association’s International Builders’ Show (IBS). The show ranked No. 9 on the 2008 Trade Show Executive Gold 100 rankings of largest trade shows, with 1.037 million net square feet of exhibit space.
BIO Intl. Changes Places in 2012 <Tradeshow Week> The Biotechnology Industry Organization has announced BIO Intl. will take place in Boston in 2012, rather than in Las Vegas as originally planned. According to BIO officials, the biotech show was counting on meeting space that would have been completed at the Las Vegas Convention Center by then.

Publisher's statement. The Showfloor Buzz is a publication of the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor Association (EACA) which is dedicated to "raising the level of service excellence on the showfloor."
This publication is sent free of charge to all EACA members each Wednesday, and to non-members four weeks later. Annual subscriptions to current issues of the Buzz are available to non-members for $49.95. Please send subscription requests to jimwurm@eaca.com.
EACA members are also permitted to submit job postings to the Buzz free of charge for a one time listing. Member job postings can be extended for additional weeks in the Buzz as well as posted to the EACA web site. The costs for extending your job posting are one month for $50, 2 months for $85, and 3 months for $125.
