SHOWFLOOR
OLYMPICS
The Showfloor Olympics held annually in
conjunction with the EACA Annual Conference was held this year
at the Convention Center in Washington DC. The Olympics
consist of two areas of competition:
1.) Physical Challenge - Teams compete for
points on the showfloor obstacle course.
2.) Industry Knowledge - Teams earn points by
correctly answering trade show related questions in a game show
format.
The team representing the Freeman Companies, comprised of
John Bielec and Billy Wells, once again took first place
in the Showfloor Olympics, held in conjunction with the EACA Annual
Conference. Seen her receiving their 1st
place gold medals from Jim Wurm Executive Director of the
EACA.
There were a total of six (6) competing teams in
this year's Showfloor Olympics which took place in the EACA
booth at TS2, all of which were top quality competitors.
The Leadman team from the Freeman Companies (Bielec
and Wells) were the overall winners taking home the Showfloor
Olympics gold medal, and the $100 cash prize per team member. They were closely followed by the
team from ExpoServices USA (the team of Steve Owens and Ronnie
Jenkins), who took home the silver and the $50 cash prize for
each. Third place was won by the Houston Heroes
from Exhibit Network International (Lenny Maartens and Chante
Timmons), and the cash prize of $25.
The EACA congratulates all its participants for
their efforts in the Showfloor Olympics competition, and thanks
