Tradeshow Credit Reports
Background
As part of its recommendation to
assist EACA members with recommendations to better secure the
credit and collections of outstanding receivables, the Ad Hoc
Committee on Billing & Collections has determined that a
Tradeshow Credit Report (TCR) system would have great
value.
The TCR system would enable those EACA members who chose to
subscribe to this system to review aggregate AR reports of
specific clients whose credit and payment histories they would
care to monitor.
Technical
Development
The EACA Tradeshow Credit Report (TCR) system is available
now to all Charter Members of the system, and will be
officially launched as of September 1,
2006. Licenses to the TCR system
can be obtained from the EACA and are detailed on page 2 of
this document. EACA members
who acquire TCR licenses will be invoiced for the license fees
and report charges from the EACA.
As a pre-requisite of the EACA TCR subscription agreement, all
subscribing members will be required to submit AR data on a
monthly basis to the system.
Subscriber Fees /
Benefits
The EACA Tradeshow Credit Report (TCR) system is available to
all members who are interested to subscribe to the system.
Subscriber fees on the TCR system are available in two types of
fee schedules. There will also be advantaged rates for
members who are Charter Subscribers to the system and subscribe
for the first time prior to August 31,
2006. Any members that subscribe to the
TCR system during the Charter period will maintain the
advantaged Charter rates as long as the member remains an
active EACA member and keeps their subscriber account current.
Charter Member subscribers can obtain a limited license to the
EACA TCR for $350 per year and can then obtain reports for a
subscriber fee of $4 per report. The
regular member rate after the Charter period is over will be
$450 annually and $5 per report.
Schedule B – Unlimited License
Charter Member subscribers can obtain an unlimited license to
the EACA TCR for $1000 per year and can then obtain an
unlimited number of reports annually at no additional charge.
The regular member rate after the Charter period is over will
be $1500 annually with an unlimited number of reports at no
additional charge.
Note: Whether a member chooses to sign up for a
license to the EACA TCR system under Schedule A or B, member
subscribers will be required, as part of their license
agreement, to contribute data monthly to the system.
Cost Comparison to
D&B
The information contained in the EACA TCR system will not only
be trade show specific, it will create a significant cost
savings as well as compared to D&B.
Note: The following chart
illustrates the effective cost per report for
the EACA TCR system as compared to
D&B. As you order more reports from
the EACA TCR the cost per report goes down (not available from
D&B).
If you order 14 or more credit reports per month (162/yr.)
it is advisable to get an Unlimited TCR license –
Schedule B.
